6.1.3 DOMESTIC MAIL — OFFICIAL MAIL
On 1 April 1935, two new stamps were issued in Poland for official mail because the postage rate had increased from 1 to 6 groszy for normal mail and from 2 to 12 groszy for registered mail. Again no official stamps were issued for the Polish Post in Gdańsk. In Gdańsk, therefore, the normal Polish official stamps had to be used.
