Below: Letter sent from Polish Harbour Post Office Gdańsk 1 to the Post and Telegraph Management, foreign mail department, in Warszawa. The sender and recipient indicate that it concerned here official mail of the Post, which could have been sent free of charge. For reasons unknown, the Sprawa pocztowa (postal matter) handstamp, that was put on the cover to show it concerned official mail of the Post, was made invalid again. Because of this, the normal 15 groszy postage had to be paid. POLSKI URZĄD POCZTOWY No 1 GDAŃSK b cds 12.1.26. WARSZAWA 1 machine arrival datstamp 13.1.26 on the reverse.
