6.1.1 DOMESTIC MAIL — POSTAGE PAID IN CASH
All fees for telegrams had to be paid in cash as well. This fee consisted of a basic fee and a fee for each word.
Left: Official telegram sent by the Polish Prosecutor General in Gdańsk to Poznań with a POLSKI URZĄD P.-T. No 1 GDAŃSK h cds 22.11.28. 4 złoty and 25 groszy had to be paid in cash: 50 groszy basic fee and 3 złoty 75 groszy for the text (25 words of 15 groszy).
Right: Official telegram sent by the Polish Diplomatic Representative in Gdańsk to Stargard with a POLSKI URZĄD P.-T. No 1 GDAŃSK h cds 21.12.28. 2 złoty and 75 groszy had to be paid in cash: 50 groszy basic fee and 2 złoty 25 groszy for the text (15 words of 15 groszy).
