During the time that Herr Mencke was working with his study of the aerial views of the Graf Zeppelin photos that showed the LZ127 over Danzig and Zoppot. he came across this pnnt of the center of the beach at Zoppot in the 1974 book, 'DANZIG, so wie es war" on page 94. The book was by Hans Lewald and published by Droste Verlag. Dusseldorf. The views of Danzig and Zoppot were probably responsible for convincing Mencke that the combintion of Zeppelin and other photos were photo-montages.
