The Gustloff Saga, by Otto Bergmann.
The Wilhelm Gustloff was torpedoed and sunk on January 30, 1945.
Note from Malcolm Steward;
Two teams of divers have confirmed the remains of the Gustloff in the waters of the Baltic within the past year. Can any readers from the area in or around Poland confirm that the ship has or has not been disturbed to allow in to be a permanent resting place for the passengers and the crew that sunk with the ship?
Please e-mail the editor and we will relate the latest information to you in a future issue of the 'Danzig Report'. Thanks.
