Exhibition and Air Flights.

On Saturday, the 23rd of July, the Councellor Mr. Zender officially opened the Air Post Exhibition and the Aviation Model Show at the Monastery of St. Francis. The next day, Senator Dr Blavier introduced the Aviation Promotion Week at the airport of Langfuhr. Many well-known aero-acrobats came the display their skills.

The Cildren's Festival on Wednesday at the airport was also encouraging to the officials. After the release of about 10,000 carrier pigeons, which returned home after a circuit around the airfield, there followed a series of happy attractions. A hot air balloon took off, amd the pilot jumped with a parachute from the height of 300 meters. The unmanned balloon floated slowly back to earth. Then came the moment of great expetations; the children released balloons containing post cards with the word Kinderfest. The finders of the cards were asked to mail theim back to the Luposta management, mentioning the finding place. Each child, of course, hoped that he or she would win the coveted prizes.
