(Left) Paper Seal on back of official letter that paid postage with damaged DM-8 o ‘prints.

Folded cover at the right is flanked with tour DM-8 stamps, with the inside pair showing damaged Ms in the overprint. The date of the mailing is 13.2.22, the file number is in the upper left-hand corner, and a rubber-stamped directive, ‘Portoflichtige Dienstsache’ is at lower left, meaning ‘official matter subject to payment of postage’.

Cover is signed by Schuler and was probably owned by Curt Michaelis.
