Danzig; The Germania Burelage Issue.
1 MARK black on 30 (Pf) reddish-orange/black, without burelage.
1¼ M burgundy on 3 (Pf) yellow-brown
2 Mark dark blue on 35 (Pf) dull red-brown
3 Mark green on 7½ (Pf) orange
5 MK red on 2 ((Pf)) grey
10 Mark black on 7½ (Pf) orange
Some of the overprinted issue was also printed on stamps that did not receive the burelage underprint. This occurred with all of the issues, but in the catalog they are generally included with the third issue.
1 MARK black on 30 (Pf) reddish-orange/black, without burelage.
1 MARK black on 30 (Pf) red-orange/black, without burelage.
Here are two copies of the 1 MARK black overprint on the 30 (Pf) orange/black issue with the two different shades (reddish-orange/black and red-orange/black) of the basic stamp, both without burelage.
1 MARK black on 30 (Pf) red-orange/black without burelage in block of four with plate fault "Lower part of first "e" in "Deutsches", is bent in position 12. Block also shows the "Group-pair number (gruppenpaarnummer) 8" in the left margin.
10 MARK black on 7½ (Pf) orange, without burelage showing plate fault from position 61 with "D" of Danzig flattened on top.
Plate faults also occurred on this issue, on the stamps without burelage. Here is one plate fault on the basic stamp and another from the overprint plate.
