Danzig - An der grünen Brücke.

A pre-World War Two card of a lumber boat tied ip on Speicher Island, near the Green Gate Bridge. All of the buildings on either side of the Green Bate were damaged by Soviet artiliery and have been rebuilt. Off to the right of the Gate, the first tall tower in the Sternwarte with its observation deck with telescope. The next building with twin conical towers is the Hakertor (Corner Gate) and, of course, a side view of the Krantor, sporting its straight roof top, wich proves that the view is from pre-1945 days. After 1955 the burned roof was replaced with a 45-degree chamfer lean, at left.
