Correspondence from another stamp dealer, mailed from Zoppot 14. l1.) The adapted postmark has had the reference to the Frele Stadt Danzig removed. It took more than a war to separate the stamp collectors from their sources, at least at this time. The invasion of Russia (Opera tion Barbarossa) didn’t occur until June of 1941.

With the absorbtion of the Frele Stadt Danzig and the formation of the Grossd eutschesReh, German stwnps were used, as in this envelope from Zoppot to Berlin on 15.2.41. It shows the same adopted cancellation as on the card above.
