NOTICE OF BANKRUPTCY - 1931

The Office of the Court (Amtsgericht) sent a notice to a yarn goods manufacturer in Chemnitz on 3.12.31 that the Zimmermann boys, at Grosse Krämergasse 3, Danzig, have declared bankruptcy. They had been trading as the firm of Otto Harder. This was one of the first Danzig businesses to have been affected by the Great Depression. In spite of its being printed on newsprint 66 years ago, the document is in excellent condition.
