Many collectors seem to be inclined to overlook less expensive stamps as being unworthy of detailed study, but it is the thesis of the writer that all stamps are equally worthy of research. Whether they are more or less valuable has no connection with the pleasure a serious student can derive from their study, and the empirical need for such studies.
