MORE SLOGAN CANCELS

A.  Michel card  #P45 w/ Krantor & stamp printed in green ink. Slogan Type 3a. Date: 29.3.32

B.  Card w/ #202 air stamp (EF), 29.5.30 to LUbeck Type 2a w/ stars

C.  New Year’s cury on 31.12.37 card w/ #277 Mer Slogan Type 8

D. Picture card dated 14.11.39 had us stumped until, we found it listed under another slogan group in Gerh. Hasselhoff’s postmark book Part II, Page 64. Slogan used from 30.10.39 - 27.11.29 “Every service for the Fatherland steels our strength”. The same can bottom of ran from 30.11.29 - 14.1.40. Stamps are #716 (Third Reich). The set of overprinted Danzig stamps (716  to 729) was valid only in Danzig until 21.10.39, when they then were sold in post offices throughout Germany. This use of Danzig stamps indicated the inherent solidarity of Danzig to Germany.
