My Danzig connection is going through a quiet patch just now, mainly to lack of spare cash, though I’m still engaged in the difficult task of building a complete used postal stationery collection. Some of the items are very elusive. By the way, could you ask the members about the earliest date of use of the 30/10 Pfg card - Michel P7? The catalog gives November 1920. My earliest example is postmarked DanzigL angfuhr c / 24.10.20, confirmed by the sender’s date line. Enclosed is an illustration of both this and another example dated 29.10.20. Any ideas out there?

Kurznachricht:
Our apologies to Otto Bergman for all of the Editor’s errors in his Marienwerder article in D.R.#74. This was rushed out without proper spelling checks. Since you know how to spell, please correct the obvious ones; additional corrections include changing the period to a comma in line 35 of page 10, and Federation of Marienwerder Lowlands in line 10. If any good comes out of this mess, it will be more accurate proof—reading on the part of you-know—who.
The FOLIO PRINT on the next page is a portion of an engraving by J.F.Schuster in 1770, showing ships and river barges on the waterfront of Danzig. The tower in the background is that of St. John’s, and the Krantor is just out of view at the left.
