Danzig The Germania Burelage Issue.

The First issue was overprinted onto Burelage that was light grey. Often this burelage was so faint that it was very difficult to see. These 6 stamps are from this first printing.

3 Mark green on 7½ (Pf) red-orange

The Second issue changed the Burelage to a greenish-grey color. This was easier to see and most of the stamps issued on August 20, 1920 were from this second printing. Here are the stamps of the second issue with Greenish-grey burelage with points up, with the color varieties of the basic stamps.

These stamps are from the second issue with Greenish-grey burelage with points-down. The 1 MARK value was not printed with this variety. The 1¼ M and 10 Mark values are shown in both shades.
