Left: The imperforated Mi. #116, showing the horizontal mesh watermark (Wz 3Y). Be very careful with the watermarks on #70 and #116; they are the only distinguishing mark and can be easily overlooked.

Below: Registered cover to Berlin with oval Danzig 5/Luftpost cancel dated 17 July 1922. The 5 Mark stamp is 7OXU, an imperforated copy. Watermark is the Wz 2 webbing (hexagonal) and runs vertically. The reverse side shows two black circular receiving stamps: BERLIN C /2/ 21.7.22 6—7N/ LUFTPOST and BERLIN-/22.7.22 6-7V /a/ SÜDENDE. The >>
