DAPOSTA 1937 can’t compare with Luposta 1932 and its long-range planning, its Zeppelin flights and its other aerial activities and exhibits. But the Danzig Philatelic Exhibition did make important contributions to our knowledge of Danzig philately, with its special postal stationery and cancels. In addition to the stationery, two sheets were produced, Michel Blocks >4o. 1 & 2,
Pictured below is a rather strange cover that didn’t seem to make up its mind whether the year was 1936 or 1937! Once the stationery had been printed, it was discovered that the wrong year had to be corrected with this result:
