Counterfoils for telegrams, which were retained by the Telegraph Station as a record of the main details of the transmission, were cancelled with an official seal of the Polish diplomatic representative. Next to this, from September 1927 a POLSKI URZĄD P.-T. N-9. 1 GDAŃSK double-circle datestamp with bridge and the code letter h in the lower segment was used. In February 1929 this datestamp was replaced by a smaller type POLSKI URZĄD POCZT.-TELEGR. GDAŃSK 1 with a code letter g in the lower segment. The word TELEGR. indicated the special function of the office. Although both datestamps had the inscription GDAŃSK 1, indicating the main Post Office at the Heveliusplatz, they were actually used in the building of the Polish diplomatic representative.

Middle: Counterfoil for an official telegram sent from Gdańsk to Tarnów on 24 September 1927. POLSKI URZĄD P.-T. N-2 1 GDAŃSK h cds 24.9.27. 50 groszy basic fee for the telegram and 21 words of 15 groszy each which gives a total of 3,65 złoty. The Postał employee calculated 18 groszy too much.
Below: Counterfoil for an official telegram sent from Gdańsk to Warszawa on 16 February 1929. POLSKI URZĄD POCZT.-TELEGR. GDAŃSK lg cds 16.2.29. 50 groszy basic fee for the telegram and 28 words of 15 groszy each which gives a total of 4,70 złoty.
