Danzig and its Postal History, A two-line cancel reading Danzig above and the date and time below enclosed in a rectangular frame was introduced in 1849.
Packetbegeleitsbrief September 8. from Danzig to Berlin, with 'Berlin packkamer' - 'Berlin Parcel Room' cachet.
Sticker on backside indicates insufficient prepayment on September 8. because of that 'Berlin' was deleted and parcel and letter were sent back on September 9.
Backstamped in Danzig on September 10. with receiving cacher 'N 3'.
