The Zeppelin League.
The Zeppelin Treaty States raised a corresponding tax in accordance with the currency of that time. In the case of mail for other states outside of the League, the complete German Zeppelin stamp sets paid for in German marks. This held true also for mail from Luxemburg and Austria, who used only their own currency for regular postage. As mentioned previously, mail from Friedrichshafen through Danzig for Rönne, or also back to Danzig, were stamped with the postage of a one-way trip. For further transportation, therer were no additional charges. Although not permitted, other postal sendings, such as C.O.D., were acceptable.
