Germany Learns to live with the Versailles Treaty:

Things were bad, but worse yet, communism was strengthened after its solidifying in Russia and three of the formerly supportive conservative groups in Germany society were losing their control - the upper & middle classes, wealthy business leaders and the Officer Corps were being placed under attack.
These groups were traditionally the most conservative of all, but they couldn't stand up to the attacks of the left wing extremists who were determined to overthrow the new Republic.
