This painting by a survivor of the Death March, Josef Lapinski, sums up the perils faced by the prisoners. We should mention that Morris Rosen’s sister marched. (although sick, and supported by another woman until there was no strength left) and was shot on the road by an SS guard. This Report is a tiny tribute to Leah Kiugman and the thousands of other good people who didn’t return to their families after serving in the Stutihof Concentration Camp.
