One of the most elusive issues of the Freie Stadt Danzig is the semi-official series of 13 triple joined-cards that were issued for the 1934 Winterhilfsw erk. Michaelis describes the paper as being inferior in quality, as was the print of photographs on the other side. One purpose of the issue, aside from the charitable reason, was to entice visitors to Danzig.

Interesting also is the fact that there was only one 10 Pfg. green stamp imprint on one of the three cards in the set. The ink coloring ran from light to dark green, but the other two cards were without a value. The position of the value stamp changed from top card
