Retouched Danzig 5/LUFTPOST with the correct oval shape and the original design. The 5 has a complete backstroke and LUFTPOST measures 20 mm point—to-point.

As the oval stamp was repeatedly used, the pressure to the top of the oval away from the postal worker, made it flatten somewhat, in contrast to the other curves of the stamp. Arrow shows direction of pressure.

At the left is the result of the constant pressure on the soft metal handstamp. Also beginning to show the thin spots below the FT. The word LUFTPOST is shifted to the left and now measures Ca. 21.5 mm.
