After the War
Nowadays, we can find Polish mail boxes everywhwere in the city. The only mail boxes from the Polish post in the Freie Stadt Danzig can be found in the postal museum in Wroclw (IlIustra lion 20) and in Gda?isk. The box in Wroctaw was . probably made after the war. The mail box in . . . the GdaiIsk postal museum shows that, even in these times, some manipulation for propaganda purposes took place: just as in 1930, scratches on the box have been changed to make them appear more dearly! (Jlluslrt, tions 22 & 23). But, in contrast to 1930, the press will not write about this, because it is no longer interesting for
the inhabitants of the city.
