>> RESOLVING THE POSTAL REGULATION PROBLEM

Many thanks to Werner and all those who have contributed to the quest and who continued to put on pressure until we found the elusive information. If you aren’t satisfied with the above information, send in your explanation and we’ll print it in the next Report.

Now that we know that Danzig collectors in Germany are interested in reading our Reports from the U.S., we hope that they will participate by sending us Some of their own knowledge of Danzig. It would be great to hear from them:

The long-awaited Catapult Mail article is included in this issue. A joint effort with John Mattler and the Luftpost-Zeppelin Study Group, they have translated, augmented with additional covers and printed the Ruberg article furnished by the D.S.G. If you have additional covers of this type, send clear copies for inclusion in a future Report.

As promised, this issue also contains the first mail sale of interesting Danzig items. Prices are in dollars and include insurance fees if value is over $10. Send your orders (no money) by 1st class mail and the first order received will get the item. We realize that the mail auctions are more fair, but we have neither the time nor energy to devote to a properly run auction. Let’s try it this time; send in your orders within 3 or 4 days, because some of the material must be shipped to Europe ASAP.
